A collectible card game (CCG), also known as trading card game (TCG), is a type of card game that mixes strategic deck building elements with features of trading cards. However, TCG combined with blockchain technology makes a whole new concept of making this genre more wholesome. Being able to collect digital sets of cards, combine them into decks, and play the decks against oppo-nents through the internet, and the best part is earning while collecting. In this article, we are going to cover the latest TCG GameFi projects that are available to trade on Lootex Marketplace:
Heroes of NFT is a turn-based collectible trading card game. Players can battle in the arena playing against each other and show off their skills with unique hero cards. X World Games is the next-generation decentralized gaming metaverse.
“X World” represents an unknown virtual world open for players to explore, and “Games” represents all of our gaming ecosystems connected. Their mission of X World Games is to bring blockchain technology into an open space where players from all over the world can participate in games together.
The first gaming product released on the X World Games platform was “Dream Card”, also known as, “Dream Card V1”. It was the first series of collectible trading cards issued by X World Games and the first global Japanese ACG-style NFT based TCG game. The number of players with TCG games currently exceeds 60 million gamers.
“Dream Card” was inspired by the famous “Pokémon Trading Card Game”. The game combines the classic TCG battle functions and playstyles with crypto blockchain technology, creating a play-to-earn ecosystem. On the X World Games platform, NFT hero cards are transparently recorded on-chain, which means they can be openly bought and sold, and are non-fungible, belonging to a specific player. Players can customize their cards to have new attributes and designs, which improves the game’s playability.
Dream Card V1, the minimum viable product version of Dream Card, which mainly focuses on PVP gameplay, contains all the basic and functional elements of a crypto trading card game, such as a level & rarity system, character growth, ELO ranking, passive skills, and NFT staking & trading. Dream Card v1 was successfully launched in June 2021 and attracted more than 1 million+ players globally.

It’s the next upgrade version of Dream Card series, will be running parallel to Dream Card v1 and mainly focus on PvE gameplay. Players can play against computer, passing through levels and beating the final Boss. The combat animation and special effects will be upgraded to the mobile gaming standard, which is different from the current Dream Card v1. More game modes will be developed for better game experience and retention.
AgeOfGods is a casual NFT RPG Action Card Game that is developed by Juego Game studios. The best-in-class game was built by team members who have worked in reputable places like 20th Century Fox, Disney, and Amazon. Players build up a personalized team of Gods and level up with the unique Awards auto farming system. As players progress through the storyline, they will be able to get NFT gears, climb leaderboards, and participate in global PVP tournaments while earning various rewards that can be sold for tokens.
Start collecting and upgrading gears to make your Gods stronger. The PvP mode will inspire players to work their way up the leaderboards. There will be seasonal rankings which will give substantial amounts of rewards depending on a players ranking to increase the competitiveness of the game. The native token of the game will be in AOG tokens which can be used to level-up Gods, purchase gear and in-game items, staking, and much more.
It is stated that 100% of the revenue stream will be used to buy back tokens from the market. These tokens will then be burned to prevent token price inflation for its P2E model.
