Dear Lootex users,
To enhance overall operational efficiency, we will temporarily suspend Smart Account (SA) related features in the near future.


Scope of Impact

This adjustment only affects users who rely on Smart Accounts (SA). Key points include:

• Smart Account Login Termination: Starting August 27, 2025, SA logins will be disabled. Please switch to external wallets (e.g., MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet) to access Lootex.

• SA Wallet Functions Disabled: All features offered by SA — including transfers, receiving tokens, and on-chain interactions — will be shut down. Please withdraw any assets and transfer your NFTs before this date.

• Gas Fee Sponsorship Ends: Lootex will no longer sponsor gas fees. Users must cover gas costs for all future on-chain activities including transfers and minting.

⚠️ Note: If you’ve always used a standard external wallet (EOA) like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, your account and operations remain completely unaffected by this change. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.


Service Suspension Date

August 27, 2025 is the planned date for full Smart Account deactivation. All SA logins and transactions will be frozen on that day. This date is tentative — if there are changes, we will provide at least 3 days' advance notice.


Required User Actions

  1. Withdraw Funds: Please transfer any remaining balance in your Smart Account to an external wallet before August 27, 2025.
  2. Transfer NFTs: Move any NFTs held in your Smart Account to an external wallet.
  3. Bind External Wallet: If you registered Lootex account using only a Smart Account and still have GP points, please bind an external wallet by August 27, 2025, to ensure uninterrupted access and asset management.

FAQ

Q1|I have multiple Smart Accounts. Do I need to handle each separately?

Yes. Each Smart Account has a unique address. Please log in to each one and withdraw tokens/NFTs to avoid missing any assets.

Q2|If I bind an external wallet, will my GP points and transaction history remain?

Yes. GP points and order history are tied to your account, not your SA. Once the external wallet is linked, all data will remain visible in your profile.

Q3|What if I miss the August 27 deadline?

The interface will be removed, but the private keys are still managed by Privy. You may open a support ticket in Lootex Discord for manual withdrawal assistance. ❗️Please note: this process may take time and incur additional handling fees. We highly recommend completing all transfers before the deadline.

Q4|I already use an external wallet. Do I need to do anything?

If all your assets are in an external wallet, no action is needed. You can continue using Lootex as usual after SA deactivation.

Q5|How do I bind an external wallet?

Log in to Lootex with MetaMask → Enter the same email used for your Smart Account → Sign the authorization message with MetaMask as prompted. After successful binding, you can log in directly with that wallet.

Q6|How do I withdraw funds or transfer NFTs from my Smart Account?

  1. Log in using your Smart Account
  2. Visit https://lootex.io/account/wallet and select the token to withdraw
  3. Click “Transfer,” enter your external wallet address, confirm the gas fee, and submit
  4. Once confirmed on-chain, the transfer is complete
  5. Visit https://lootex.io/account/inventory, select your NFT(s)
  6. Click “Transfer,” enter the external wallet address, confirm the gas fee, and submit
  7. Once confirmed on-chain, the NFT transfer is complete

Q7|What fees apply when withdrawing?

All on-chain transactions require a gas fee. You can still use GP points to cover gas before the shutdown. After August 27, gas costs must be paid by user.

Q8|I only have a Smart Account and no external wallet. What should I do?

Please install a wallet like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet. Ensure you have a small amount of native tokens for gas fees. Then follow the steps in Q5 to bind the wallet and transfer your assets.

Q9|What happens to my active listings and bids via Smart Account?

Starting August 27, 2025, all SA listings and bids will be automatically canceled. Any transactions completed before this date will be processed normally.

Q10|I have Smart Accounts on multiple chains. Do I need to operate each separately?

Yes. Each Smart Account on each blockchain is distinct. Please log in to each chain and handle withdrawals/transfers accordingly.

Q11|How can I confirm a successful transfer?

After submitting the transfer, you can view the TxHash in your "Transaction History." You may also check Etherscan, Polygonscan, or the respective blockchain explorer using your external wallet address to verify asset receipt.
