About XST
The five artists, Jie Liou, Steven Tung, Ching Yeh, Wei Hsiang Zeng, and Mark Chang (equinoz), each specialize in digital 2D and 3D media, use some technique of artistic to completely transfer digital art into reality.
After exploring their own work in the industry and then holding a science fiction exhibition together, they decided to convert their work into NFT and publish it in Lootex Creators Series.

<Interview Begins>
Why did you create the co-brand — XST?
The five of us have worked together before, but we have always wanted to accomplish something in a more organized way. Based on our common interest in science fiction and the future, we can do more diversified creation and development, or collaborate with talents from various fields through XST, making it not just a brand, but a spirit of reflection on art.
How did you get into art?
Tung：We were exposed to many foreign film and television industries during our student period through the internet, including movies, animation, comics, etc, which have deeply influenced our sense of beauty and the way we understand the world. Especially in the age of the internet and electronics, science fiction issues are no longer just fantasy, but can intervene in the real human world through art. We started taking on projects and creating while we were in school, and in the process we entered the art field and have been working in these industries ever since.
Jie：I grew up in the traditional training of the art class when I was young. However, I was exposed to 3D animation and electronic music in college and began to be deeply influenced by various science fiction movies, animation, and music. Since then, I have been interested in philosophical and existential issues. To me, both technical and inner concepts are expressions of art forms.
equinoz：I have no idea whether I actually enter this field or not, because I’ve just been doing what I love.
Wei Hsiang：I have also been learning art since childhood, and have been doing 3D-related matters until now after founding this cool thing in college.
What are some of the past accomplishments you are most proud of?
equinoz：I fell asleep from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in high school without being woken up by the teacher.
Wei Hsiang：Secret.
How did you get to know about NFTs?
Tung：I was recommended by Jie and Equinoz.
Jie：I’ve been interested in cryptocurrencies, the importance of which cannot be ignored, since last year. It just so happened that Beeple launched his first NFT not long after my exploring in this field, so I then was on the rocket to the moon.
equinoz：Learn it from Youtube.
Wei Hsiang：Just saw someone showing off.
Tell us about your upcoming NFT drop and what inspired you?
Tung：My work “Pity” shows the atmosphere created by lines and colors, describing unknown extraterrestrial creatures occupying the Earth with pity, because they consider humans as inferior species and domination as a compassionate aid.
The second work “Silent Devourer” depicts that the original microorganisms evolve into giant floating creatures but maintain the original minimalist structure, which is due to the climate and human extinction, as the long-term change in the proportion of oxygen and other substances. I choose the concept of high contrast with black and white to show the relationship between the remaining mammals and their relationship.
Jie：The Door of Truth is actually a manifestation of my observation of the world. Before we open the door, we can observe the form of the space we are in; but for the world behind the door, we can only know the new spatial state when we open the door. Everything in the world has two sides.
The original text of the Door of Truth is Hebrew, and it means the Tree of Life in English. I connected this concept with the door and science fiction to create my artwork.
equinoz：Humanity has evolved to another dimension of thought through the explosion of technology. A world in which everyone is God may already be in the distance, and suffering will cease to exist and become an eternal mark. When every soul has become God and the existence of the self is reflected in the eyes, in what form will the God we look up to be presented to us?
Wei Hsiang：The emergence of the Bionic Man will bring about the human rights dilemma of a mechanical life form. The images depict the struggle and realization of the Bionic Man when encountering conflicts, which is a moment of the birth of humanity.
What do you imagine about the future of digital art?
equinoz：I’m looking forward to Apple’s AR glasses in the near future. After all, Apple’s products can have the greatest impact on the market, which will greatly promote the application of AR in daily life. As a result, we can take advantage of this to bring people closer to our current so-called “virtual” art. Imagining that you and your friend both have a pair of AR glasses and you can see each other’s virtual artworks floating around through the glasses, this experience should be very interesting.
Jie：The next generation will definitely develop into a world of AR, VR, and XR. With the epidemic accelerating the development of the Internet, digital art will gradually become more accessible due to the popularization of hardware. However, current creation seems somehow limited to the visual and auditory realms, perhaps we will be able to elevate creation to a fully immersive experience in the near future.

equinoz：Making 3D art integrated into everyone’s daily life.
Jie：Both myself and XST will leave a historical position in the world.
Do you have anything to tell your fans?
Tung：You should remember to be healthy while supporting our work.
equinoz：I will continue to innovate and move forward with the times until death, please feel free to buy the work because the value of it will only go up .
Jie：The world will not stop so that we are going to constantly evolve with it. Although it seems like a very pompous description, the more people to support us, the more we will be motivated to create an imaginary world.
